it’s been a while!

久しぶり！

When I last posted I had gone through a major shift at work and started an apprenticeship, and as a result of a toxic work situation I ended up in therapy, physically ill, and eventually left my job and transferred to a new department. Needless to say, studying Japanese hasn’t been top of my list! I’ve been keeping it going in the background and in 2022, whilst I haven’t done much, I have;

• continued to read when I can
• continued my weekly Japanese lessons/conversation practice
• passed N3 in summer!

I guess that’s it! I’ve probably achieved more than I thought but given the situation I was in I’ll take those. In 2023 I will complete my apprenticeship and will be able to dedicate more time to studying and taking in more Japanese – I aim to sort out my 2023 goals this week and I will resume with my ramblings about books, drama and everything in between.
